Terms & Conditions Of Purchase:

 

An Important Update Notice for Our USA Customers:

  • Due to newly imposed tariffs, your order may incur duties and customs charges upon arrival in the United States.
  • Please note that these fees are determined by U.S. customs authorities and are not set or controlled by Tokyo Foxtrot.
  • Any applicable duties or taxes are the responsibility of the recipient and will be collected by the logistics carrier on behalf of U.S. Customs in accordance with regulations.
  • For further details, we recommend consulting U.S. Customs and Border Protection before placing your order.
  • Our dresses are designed in Australia, but our manufacturing and supply partner is based in China.
    Whilst we ship from Australia, the country of origin for our garments is China

RETURNS POLICIES

  • To seek a refund for your item, customers are required to submit a return request through the on site returns portal and ship it back to Tokyo Foxtrot within 10 days of delivery.

  • Please ensure your completed returns card is enclosed in your return; we are unable to take responsibility for orders that missing this information to be identified and processed.

  • Please note that customers are responsible for return shipping; we recommend all customers to use a tracked service. We are unable to accept returns that are lost and cannot accept responsibility for items that are not trackable.

  • To be eligible for a return, the item must be in the same condition as when you received it: new, unworn, unused, with tags, and in its original packaging.

  • Returns will be thoroughly inspected and will not be accepted if the item is worn, or showing any signs of wear (including exposure to makeup, dirt/dust, pet hair, tan, sweat, any body odour or deodorant).

  • All orders are issued intact with return tags, if these tags are removed, the item is ineligible for a return.

  • Once your item has passed our returns inspection, we will notify you and issue a refund to your original payment method.

  • Orders seeking a refund are subject to a restocking fee (UK £4.95, ROW $5.95)

RETURNS WITH AFTERPAY

  • Please note that purchases made using Afterpay are not eligible for a refund.  
  • Returns with AfterPay/Clearpay are issued in the form of store credit or an exchange.

  • To exchange an item, customers must submit a return request through the on-site returns portal and ensure the item is shipped back to Tokyo Foxtrot within 10 days of delivery.
    Both the online return request and dispatch must be completed by the 10th day after delivery.

  • Once we accept the return, we will send your exchanged item, subject to stock availability. If the item is not available, we can issue store credit instead.

cancellations

  • Please note that we do not accept cancellations once your order has been placed.

DEFECTS

  • In the unusual situation that the item you recieve is defective, damaged or incorrect, please get in touch with us immediately at info@tokyofoxtrot.com; we will be happy to correct it for you.

EXCEPTIONS/NON RETURNABLE ITEMS

  • Unfortunately, we are unable to accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
  • Items that are marked as Non-Refundable are not eligible for a refund and may be returned for exchange or store credit only.
  • Customers are provided with an additional prompt at checkout to confirm they are aware of the conditions for non-refundable items.

refund processing

  • Please allow up to 5 business days for your return to complete our returns process.
  • Once we’ve received and inspected your return, you'll recieve an email to let you know if your refund has sucessfully completed our returns inspection process.
  • If approved, you’ll be refunded to your original payment method.
  • Please be mindful that it can take some time for your financial institution to process and release funds back to you.
  • If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us at info@tokyofoxtrot.com.

customs, duties and taxes

  • CUSTOMS DUTIES, TAXES AND CHARGES ARE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE RECIPIENT.
  • These charges are set by your country's customs authority and regulated by your local government.
  • Tokyo Foxtrot has no control over these fees and does not profit from them.
  • Tokyo Foxtrot does not cover these fees and cannot estimate them, as they vary by location.  
  • If you refuse to pay customs charges, the parcel will be returned to us. In this case:
    • The original shipping cost will be deducted from any potential refund.
    • The cost of disposing of or returning the item to us will be deducted from any potential refund.
  • By completing your purchase, you acknowledge and accept these terms.
  • If you have concerns, please check with your local customs office before ordering.

pre-order items

  • Products available for pre-order will be dispatched according to the specified date indicated on the product page.
  • Pre-order items cannot be cancelled except in cases initiated by Tokyo Foxtrot.
  • Whenever possible, we will strive to ship items promptly as they become available.
  • Anticipate the shipment of your item by the committed date, we will make every effort to deliver it to you ahead of schedule whenever possible.
  • If there is any change to your expected pre order date, we will notify you immediately via email.


Accessing and making purchases through this site indicates that you are aware of; and accept the following terms and conditions. Tokyo Foxtrot Pty Ltd reserves the right to cancel and/or refund any orders as deemed appropriate, on a case-by-case basis.
